Smooth Marine Equipment Ltd., headquartered in Hong Kong, once again undertook to organize an exhibition during the Spring Festival to promote the experience and a life style of recreation. The venue was again the Luhuitou Plaza in Sanya, Hainan; many actual exhibits were on display in the 3000 square meter plaza to give Sanya residents and visitors a closer look of these recreational products.

Smooth Marine Chairman, YY Chan, believed that the pleasure craft industry was already manifesting a strong upward trend and keen investment enthusiasm, and that this industry was expected to be a main factor in the growth of Sanya's high-end tourism industry.  It was with these in mind that Smooth Marine chose Sanya as a focal point in market development, and it was hoped that through such exhibitions as this that Sanya residents and visitors would better understand the meaning of recreation, and some of the ways it could be experienced.

Sanya is a city that has what it takes to become a national, and international, vacation spot, and it is this city that Smooth Marine has chosen to further develop its business.

Co-exhibitors included Sunseeker, a U.K. Pleasure Craft Manufacturer with Asian Headquarter in Singapore, and high end real estate developers.
